搜索故事到博客故事

　　风在南方说，为人民服务是Web 2.0的宗旨，或许它也并不需要商业化，就像物理世界中还是存在着事业性的单位一样，我认为，从是否需要用户付费的角度来看，互联网上大部分的服务都是事业性的，但是这些事业性的服务最终能够体现商业价值，尽管不能肯定互联网上是否最后就不存在没有商业目的的服务，但我认为互联网上不能商业化的服务必然会越来越少。

　　之前在GOOGLE的2.0运动中也讲到，很多在传统商业世界里不可能由个体提供的公共服务，正越来越多地被互联网企业所接管。从理论上来讲，只要对用户有价值的服务，都是具有商业价值，因而也是可以被商业化的。在传统世界之所以存在大量的非商业化的事物，更多地是因为传统社会的架构以及相应的技术手段不足以把提供这项服务的收益和成本之比控制在一个适当的程度，但这种约束正在一步一步被放开，古人很难想象问路或是聊天也能被利用来商业化，但我们现在看到了google map以及msn这样的商业产品，互联网的创新之一就是可以在一个巨大的利润源周边衍生出许多不需要用户直接付费的商业服务，只要核心利润源够大，这种相关的衍生服务可以扩展到相当大的程度，因此巨头越多，出现巨头的速率越快，机率越高，他们就必然要搜寻更多地能为用户提供的免费的服务，互联网上剩下的没有被商业化的服务就会越来越少。

　　正因为这样，我不认为讨论blog以及所有的web2.0服务是否需要商业化是一个有价值的问题，因为我们所看到的大部分web2.0的服务都是有商业目的的，即使博客对如何为自己赚钱漠不关心，他所享用的也是一项商业服务，而不是什么社会主义福利。事实上，对blog的商业模式的讨论，更像是在探寻blog以及web2.0本身能否成为那个利润源，我们需要讨论的是单纯地采取广告这样的一种最直接的盈利模式，会否像laolu给我们讲的overture的故事一样，离最终捅破窗户纸只差薄薄一层，而最终死于对用户体验更重视的后来的改良者之手？或许讨论的问题还包括，是否能在目前的条件下把web2.0的利益相关群体融入一种互惠互利的全新的商业模式去，如果可以，web2.0的世界就是另一番新天地，如果不行，大家哈哈一笑拍拍屁股继续上路，让web2.0继续作为利润的配角衍生着，直到下一次试验开始，就是那么一回事。
